What this is

SittingPay is being built. Today this site does two things: it estimates what detention pay might be worth to you, and it holds your place in line for the service. Nothing here is a product you can use yet, and joining the waitlist does not create a contract to do business.

The number we show you is an estimate

The dollar figure at the end of the questions is arithmetic on the five answers you gave, at an assumed $ $75 per hour detention rate drawn from published industry research. It is not a quote, an appraisal, a promise, or a statement about any money you are actually owed.

What a broker actually owes you depends on your rate confirmation, the free time on that load, the notice you gave, and the evidence you have. Some of it, most of it, or none of it may be collectible. We do not promise that you will recover any amount of money.

What the waitlist gets you

A text message when a spot opens, and nothing else. We may never launch, may launch on a different timeline, or may launch with different terms than described. If we do launch, our intended pricing is a contingency fee of 25% of what we recover for you and nothing at all if we recover nothing — but that is a description of a plan, not an offer, and the terms you would actually agree to would come later, in writing.

Who can sign up

You must be 18 or older, in the United States, with a US mobile number. Give us your own number and your own name — not somebody else's.

We are not your lawyer or your collection agency

Nothing on this site is legal advice about your contracts, your claims, or your rights against a broker.

The site is provided as-is

We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we make no warranties, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses arising out of your use of it. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which SittingPay is organized.
